Based on a desire to push live jazz in High Wycombe, Catch22Jams, Itchy Silk Creates, HWBIDCo and Wycombe Arts Centre are throwing the inaugural Wycombe Jazz Festival on the 5th of June 2022.
The first Wycombe Jazz Festival will sport headliners including Matt Johnson (of Jamiroquai), the buzzing, Brighton-based outfit Yakul, and local representation in the form of Catch 22's very own MLN Ensemble, saxophonist Harry Bennett, and the Buckinghamshire-based singer-songwriter Soraya Ray.
There'll also be a cohort of DJs throughout the festival too, with our very own Ally J Steel taking to the decks, alongside DJ Nick Keir and Catch 22's Amber & Damian.
This festival set in the heart of High Wycombe promises to bring jazz and music to the community's forefront.

About Catch22:
Catch22Jams a live jazz night started in late 2021. It was a night created from the "lack of live jazz" in High Wycombe. Alongside the house band MLN Ensemble (and local musicians), Catch22jams has been taking High Wycombe on a journey through jazz from yesteryear to more contemporary names.
